The Isenthal is located in central Switzerland in the northern part of the Swiss Alps near Lucern.
Early in the year, I had to surmount slopes still covered in snow, a risky ridge walk and a pretty chilly night in my tent. Let alone the rather strenuous hike in and of itself.
